Responsible for all facets of the brand; from print advertising, illustration design, UX design incorporating a complete redesign of the automotive classified website and T-shirt design for LeMans events. 

To support the relaunch of their automotive classified section PistonHeads required a range of media ads for use in print and online.
Responsible for creative, art direction and ad copywriting. 
Vehicle illustrations were utilised from their sister brand, Autocar but heavily modified. 


Complete redesign of the PistonHeads.com classified website

Creative lead for conceptualisation, UX design and creative direction. The then existing classified section of PistonHeads.com was beginning to look tired, so a thorough refresh was required. Careful attention was paid to ensure the brand lost none of its 'grass roots' heritage so the design was deliberately functional in its appearance. 


Le Mans 24 hour
PistonHeads attends LeMans 24 hour every year and for this they require an identity and visual style for their promotional material.

Responsible for conceptualisation, creative direction and illustration. The identities were used across multiple communications; shown below are their application on t-shirts, worn by PistonHeads fans at the LeMans events.

The 2012 identity wasn't sponsored, so a new and unique one had to be crafted.


PistonHeads LeMans 24hr 2011 identity.

The 2011 project was sponsored by Gulf Oil, which has a rich history at LeMans. The 3 cars shown are all historic Gulf liveried winners.
