Graphic Design Management Consultant
Acting as Graphic Design Management Consultant for Gordon Murray Group, one of the initial key tasks working with the team was being given the responsibility of redeveloping the company branding and corporate identity work. This consisted of developing the old logo into a more modern look, utilising a fresh new typeface that drew on inspiration from the original logo, and creating a suite of subsidiary logos for companies with the Gordon Murray Group, including Automotive and Design.
As the 'brand guardian', this also consisted of rebranding over 400 ISO documents, creating a photography style guide and also designing various production items for the forthcoming T50 and T50s hyper-cars, making sure any typographical elements on the vehicles are in-line with the new corporate look.
Many more items have also been developed but are subject to NDA's until released into the public domain.
A corporate guidelines document was created which outlined the basic graphic design components (typeface, colours, tone of voice, logo usage etc), and also delved into further detail including clothing and signage etc. The document was designed to be organic and ever-evolving as the needs of the company expand over the coming years.
Signage development was also a crucial part of the exercise, with new way-finding signs designed and installed at various group properties.
